Higher Diploma in Hotel Management
 2 semesters, totaling 8 months, commencing every January, May and September
 40 credits
 
 The Higher Diploma in Hotel Management is an intensive program for the more experienced individual to learn the business skills and higher-level reasoning needed to flourish in a management role in hospitality. The courses in the program will be beneficial for both new and aspiring managers. Within the Higher Diploma program, students will also have the opportunity to take classes in VPC Hotel Management Diploma to ensure the student is familiar with the foundational concepts in the department(s) of their interest.
 
 Applicants can study part-time (to complete the program in maximum of 3 years) or full-time (to complete the program in approximately 8 months). Students can also apply for individual courses or choose to do a Higher Certificate in Hotel Management by choosing any 20 credits (a maximum of 6 credits in the Hotel Management Diploma) in the program.
 
 Individuals who successfully complete the Higher Diploma (40 credits) will be given the opportunity to work with a hotel manager in a mentoring capacity for a week (40 hours).
 
  Certification at Completion
 
 Graduates will receive the following certification upon completion of their studies:
 
 A Higher Diploma in Hotel Management from Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management or
 
 A Higher Certificate in Hotel Management from Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management (if choose to take only 20 credits)
 
 A Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management Certificate of Completion course

 Entrance Requirements and Start Dates:
 
 Students applying for the Higher Diploma Program:
 Students holding the VPC Hotel Management Diploma or a similar college diploma or a university degree in any field or equivalent experience (to be evaluated in an interview), will be admitted into the Higher Diploma program when the following requirements have been met:

 Minimum 500 hours of hospitality work experience (500 hours minimum required for graduation)
 GPA from last program of study of 2.5
 To be successful in our Hotel Management Programs, applicants need an average GPA of at least 2.5 (or 65%) from their most recent program of study. We encourage those applicants with GPA lower than 2.5 to contact the Registrar's Office for other options.
 TOEFL score of 5.0 (CBT 197) or TOEIC score of 630 (if applicable)
