IELTS Test
Preparation Course 8 weeks part time, Tuition: $1200
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an English Proficiency exam designed to assess a person’s complete range of English language skills. IELTS is accepted by most Canadian, Australian, British, and New Zealand academic institutions, and is recognized as an entrance requirement for various secondary, vocational and training programs. IETLS is also recognized by many professional licensing bodies such as the RNABC (Registered Nurses Association of BC), the College of Nurses of Ontario, and Citizenship and Immigration Canada. IELTS is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Australia.
Applicants for RN (Registered Nurse) registration in North America must demonstrate fluency in English. If English is not your first language, English fluency tests are required to confirm your fluency in English. The IELTS test has been approved by the RNABC (Registered Nurses Association of British Columbia) as well as by the College of Nurses of Ontario, as a measure to evaluate the applicant’s proficiency in English.

OMNI’s IELTS Test Preparation Course also teaches non-native speakers of English to communicate effectively with spoken English. Our program focuses on activities which allow students to practice all the skills they are required to perform on the test. The focus is on intensive speech practice with emphasis on pronunciation accuracy and speech fluency.
