	New in 2005, GV Options have been introduced as part of the GV360? program. GV Options allow full time students maximum flexibility in planning and undertaking their individual study program, while maintaining the highest levels of academic integrity.
	GV Options vary according to location, and are offered subject to availability as part of the General English program. Further optional classes may be offered from time to time according to student demand. GV Options timetabling may vary according to location, and not all programs are offered at all locations.

In the GV Business English course, you will:

Programs TOEFL Preparation Program

Offered in Canada and the USA.
Ability levels: Intermediate 1 - Advanced 2
Entrance exam required or minimum of 450/133 equivalent

Student testimonial about the TOEFL Preparation Program

Global Village is offering a full-time TOEFL/University Preparation course leading to the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). This program is for students who would like to improve their TOEFL score and who are interested in a college style class that will prepare them for further studies at college or university.
Students who have an official test score of 450/133 can be accepted into the program without writing the Entrance Exam.

Course content
Students are prepared for the three main components of the TOEFL exam:

Listening Comprehension
Grammar and Written Expression
Vocabulary Building

The course also covers test-writing strategies with frequent practice examinations. The program includes academic readings, essay-writing and seminar-style discussions. Thematic units are based on courses that students will encounter at college or university as well as subjects that are of interest to high-level students.

Writing Skills
Research and Study Methods

Programs TOEIC Preparation Program

The GV Preparation Program for the TOEIC Test (Test of English for International Communication) is a full-time program for students who are interested in taking the TOEIC examination.
This program assesses English language competency in a business context and is used by companies around the world to determine English communication skills.

Course content
Students are prepared for the main components of the TOEIC examination by covering: listening comprehension, reading, business-oriented vocabulary review and grammar review.

This course prepares students to cope with high-level Academic English and to successfully complete the IELTS exam. It focuses on the main components of Academic English as used in university-style courses.
